​Class Description


Beginner & Gentle Classes

Baby Boomer Yoga This class is great for the matured body but is fine for all ages of adults, beginners or those who like a gentle, mindful class. Incorporated in this class is modifications for joint issues and arthritis and challenged backs. Emphasis on balance, home stretches, strengthening and practical anatomy.

Gentle Yoga Bring a strap and a block if you have them. A strap can even be a bathrobe belt, etc. Wendy will lead gentle stretches with the purpose of increasing flexibility and mindfulness, and decreases tension and stress. Modifications will be offered for those with injuries and for those wanted a slightly deeper version of each stretch.

Mindful Movement is a Kripalu inspired Gentle Hatha class. This is an ideal class for those new to yoga, as well as the experienced student who want to be refreshed on the basics. Props will be used when needed. No experience is required.

Yoga for Every Body is a gentle yoga class for every body type. Class includes stretching and movement that is accessible to Every Body, and not just for the fit, firm and flexible. Class designed for people with the more rounded body and achy joints. Class will include stretching, strength building, and relaxation.


All Level Classes

Yoga Fundamentals This class is suited to any level student. Detailed verbal cues and as well as modeling will guide you through this virtual yoga class.  You will have the opportunity to try more challenging poses at a slower pace.

Yoga with a Twist is a fun, easy going yoga class, but with a twist. Learn to move your awareness inward for peace, be gentle with yourself when needed, and move more toward your edge when appropriate. In this class, we laugh and come together to enjoy whatever the students bring!


Advanced Classes

Warm Flow Strengthen your practice. Modifications and supportive instruction are offered to help you safely move through a flow style class. This class is suitable for all levels. 

Specialty Classes

Chair Yoga Mix This class is designed specifically for those with physical limitations. Modifications are always offered so that the needs of each student are met. Students move through postures while seated in a chair and also while standing while using the chair for support and balance as needed. The class also places an emphasis on fostering greater mind body awareness.

Empowered Core 
Program is geared to those looking to stay fit, active, and motivated. The goal of our program is to strengthen the core to help maintain a healthy body and prevent pain and injuries. Additionally, your body will become more shaped and toned as we move through the program together.  The classes are held twice per week for 45 minutes. The classes are medium paced and moderately challenging with a focus on strengthening the core muscles of the body. Our program blends yoga, Pilates, and other core exercises. 

Face Yoga 
Each class will each cover the three zones of the face for full face sequence. We begin with a warm up, cool down, breath work, face yoga, and short meditation. Benefits of face yoga include stress reduction, increased mind-body awareness, less headaches, reduction of dark circles and puffiness around eyes, more symmetrical face, higher, sculpted cheeks, less droopy eyelids, and much more!  Classes are 45 minutes.  No experience is necessary.  All are welcome.

Prenatal Yoga will provide safe and beneficial yoga postures for the pregnant woman, with emphasis on adapting your yoga practice throughout pregnancy. The focus is on opening the hips, breathing, and meditation in preparation for the birth process. Shoulder and back release are also practiced. Basic childbirth education and comfort measures are discussed. This class is open to women throughout pregnancy from 6 - 42 weeks.

Restorative Yoga Join Judy for a 60 minute inward journey to relax body, mind & spirit. You will be supported by blankets, bolsters and blocks while you hold comfortable shapes for longer periods of time with the intent of bringing you back into balance. It’s the ultimate experience of self-care. Judy has been teaching this style of yoga for more than a decade and has trained hundreds of local teachers in this modality.  

Yin Yoga is a deep, rewarding practice that synthesizes the contemplative power of meditation with the energy-enhancing properties of yoga and pranayama. It is a perfect complement to active lives and yoga practices, and suitable for practitioners of all levels.

Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. Yoga Nidra is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light withdrawal of the 5 senses with four of his or her senses internalized, that is, withdrawn, and only the hearing still connects to the instructions. Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.
